Individual Counseling
At Behavioral Solutions, our goal is to help you explore the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behavior and the influence it has on behavior patterns and actions. Another goal is to help you view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a healthier, effective way. Indiviual therapy is usually short-term and focuses on teaching specific skills, such as problem solving and coping skills, to help address your issues and concerns. The process can lead to greater self-understanding and increased insight. The number of counseling sessions is decided by you and your therapist.

Psychological Testing and Assessments
Psychological testing/assessment typically takes several hours and may involve multiple office visits. Individuals are referred by physicians, counselors, social service agencies, as well as being self-referred. Our evaluations provide information regarding academic, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral functioning. A comprehensive psychological assessment may include clinical interviews, behavioral rating scales, intelligence tests, academic achievement tests, and personality tests. Results from the assessments may assist in diagnosis, lend helpful insights during the counseling experience, and help determine appropriate clinical treatment.
Consultation / Outreach
Behavioral Solutions offers consultation to interested individuals who would like more information about our services and resources. Our staff is available to community agencies, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other organizations for in-service trainings and workshops.
